Nick and Bonnie -Part 3

This is not the story of the men who lost,This is the one who will win in life..Even to love..He knows how to win..and he's handsome ,awesome and hard-working.
He has clear set of goals-But has different distractions..

Nick however did some week chatted to Betty.It was like Bonnie was a memory.

Bonnie was a character in HTGAWM and Betty in Archie's weird mystery and Nick in HIMYM small part.

August month came.After 3 months of no chatting,she invited him to her marriage on Aug 5th.Gladly the project was tough,and he could not get a leave,but luckily for him he had 3 days holiday coming up on 8th and he knew Betty was coming on 10th..He decided to go for 5 days.He brought her a watch and a wine🍾

It's like a bad control-He invited him and he just came after 4 days.Though Betty could not come to her home,he was not desp..

He went to see Bonnie and spent some quality time with her,He saw her paintings,friended her brother.He chatted with Betty on whatssap video,He felt happiness..Saw her father who,came to his house for vacation..He just spent some time chatting.. Nick sent his mom and Aunt to her marriage and he posted the story in Instagram..

Bonnie was married to a software engineer,senior position guy.Nick thought he had just one expresion on his face..He had some deformation in his hand,but she was ok with that.
Even though it should have been about Nick..This is how Bonnie's story was ended.She z gonna move to Bangalore from Punjab.She z gonna have his children ..The love for her to Nick was sister's, Mother's,Friend's ..Such things just happens once in a lifetime..And this is not I wanna marry u type..It's just -Stay connected forever type..Nick can't express it..Betty was nowhere near Bonnie..But she would have that with her sometime..

Nick and Bonnie-Part 2

He heard a song about mother coz it reminded of how she feels.She changed her status to mom.She changed her insta name to Bonnie Emmy Efron

,Emmy being her mom's blame who died.She found a match.She stopped giving Nick replies.For Nick the world felt so small.His work felt so small.Betty felt so small.Or it may be his Karma.Nick was less attached to his parents,even though he visited there..he spent much times travelling with friends.For a girl he have not seen,it affected his life.She stopped giving him messages..3 months they were big friends on WhatsApp. Relations made on social medias dies on social media..He already had left this social media long time ago.

He found out what this was,which he realised from his follower-The monk.Its GHOSTING.

Nick thought he was the one who experienced it first,in the world.This word was already been coined in 2011 and was polular in 2015-16,and was included in the collins english dictionary,since 2015. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghosting_(relationships)

During his dance classes,he lost his Romance,where he lost his dancing skills.He master scolded him for his lack of concentration.He himself felt as a failure.What something ,that could be a possiblity could end up into nothingness. Nick did not know whom to blame.But he was advised not to blame himself. He never gave that space to anyone like this ever before.Time passed. He messaged her once a week,And eventually it passed out.He felt weird. He felt left out.He knew,he would/might have a good relation with Betty.But was afraid to attempt it,because it was weird for him.He once drunk messaged,and messaged Betty that she looked good in a particular dress. Waaw,they got in sting of good moments.But he got scared,even though the liked her.He will always feel weird. He found out that Betty read his blog. He liked that.Actually he found out because of his miscommunication with her.

He spend his days by 5 things:

• He was advised to work beyond his scope by his uncle
• He watched Roadies-and wanted entry into it.
• He exercised-PUSHED HIS LIMITS
• He danced to get his romance back
• He prepared for competitive exams.

If there was 1% chance,she would not like Betty with Nick,Nick would not take it.She was just damn special to him.Even though he tried to forget.he had trigger points.

Once Nick got drunk and  messaged Betty.He messaged about  how good she looked.He thought she slept,but she  did not.He messaged back and they went into a long conversation.Until it was too late and Nick said Bye.Nick messaged Betty after his work ,ready for his next rejection.He messaged her daily at night,if she has not seen he would delete those.Many days he did not get any reply  .But can't blame her,he messaged late and would delete those.He could not message at day.He was relaxed only at night.He decided to quit it..but one day she messaged back.Then one day again he found strength and was gonna confess about his crush.But that day turned out to be her birthday and she was home.And he decided not to make anything work for her.He knew it may not be love,it may be infactuation.

And one by one,Betty too became a distraction and both the conversations faded in March.At May,he was only focussed on his brothers marriage.He liked his brother and wanted to only chill.He prepared dance and finished.It was only cool..

He was busy thinking about himself about his brothers marriage.He drank some scotch with his brothers and bro's frnds.The next day he got chicken pox..He wanted to attend his bro s marriage but he was restricted.

He was crying as he could not attend his brothers marriage..Day 1,2,3 we're his worst.He felt lonely and was full on fruits .

After 10 days of loneliness,he messaged her and deleted it..

Hoping she didn't see it,he put a status and she replied that status..and he started talking again..He went back to New work and It continued till..May,June ,July.

NICK 'N' BONNIE-THE Unanswered story

Bonnie just came into his life when he was sick. Now the thing as any normal love story, Bonnie took cared of Nick and nurtured him back to health. But No, Nick had had an impact on my Right Arm and he contacted her coz he thought she was a specialist, No she was a Dentist. Bonnie had not seen Nick for 5 -6 years.And that too they were just Instagram friends. She just adviced him,which medicines to take.Her medicines did not cure him but they became good friends soon.

Nick, a 7-6AM employee in Tesla Motors who had completed engineering in Automobile engineering, IIT Hyderabad.He has been working for Tata motors and did a six-month course from the University of Michigan. From there under the recommendation of his uncle ,and the course he was able to work in Tesla motors. He has been working for past 2 years.His uncle was one of the most important person in the company.He held a reputed position in the company and has strengthen and worked it for past 15 years.The company now tripled its  size than ever before.Nick's boss (even though was an asshole, who has good ideas and his timings were perfect in every stage of his life that he became a manager,where same people who came after him still struggle to become seniors associates) do cared Nick and wanted motivated him to go along. Those two people were the most influential people in his workspace.

Nick lived in a bed space in the outskirts area known worse for cleanliness.But that place is known for food as Nick loved eating out.It was also the place near his uncle's Apartment which was cleaner,and he should visit there weekly. Amid his position,he cared for his people in India.And go there Thrice an year.Even though he was tight in his money and expenses.He cared for his home and he enjoyed with his friends at home


Bonnie was a good and beautiful girl some knowledge in medicines,and he liked that fact.When Nick first asked about Bonnie about his arm pain,She asked him how it happened and suggested him medicines.The things was just because of an injury,he fell during his exercise.Even if she was an dentist,she knew about medicines, which impressed him and was willing to help. Nick's arm didn't had any effect because he needed rest.It was during heavy work,and constant use of mobile that happened. And it was chronic pain. It took 3 months to even reduce the pain.

But there started a bond of friendship. Nick called her"Didi" meaning for elder sister in Hindi. But he didn't know that they were of the same age. He asked her birthday, she refused to answer. He then checked his profile in Facebook and realized this fact.He was so embarrassed by this fact that he spend that whole day laughing at his misunderstanding about her.

After a while  of chatting,he asked if she wish any proposal from UK? She denied.She was either dumb or was unsure.But it was for the best.She wanted to become a doctor and maybe she was not smart for a doctor is what Nick think now. During their chat she told him that.But she was hardworking.Nick felt nice to even talk to her.Well she was gonna get married soon. And there came a proposal,which she said she liked that guy.Bonnie told Nick that she told that to this guy-John.John was a software engineer and a frequent tripper.She directly told him that she is not gonna,spend on dowry.These type of things are not supposed to be said on 1st date.What impression does that leaves you.Hearing to this , Nick called her stupid for doing that.

She was upset at first,then he made her realize what she had done. Anyways Nick liked her attitude.Nick told her Dowry is necessary for covering up at least  marriage expense. In Alux.com and if you research about Indians,they do spend a  lot on marriages. Nick an open genuine girl.Despite his previous friendship has always given him trouble,he chose to give this a try. 'Bonnie is nice.My guts told me'he believed.

There came a chance,when Nick and Bonnie could meet-A single day. Bonnie came to US,but Nick was surprised. But in long drive away.Nick would have visited if he had driving licences.And Bonnie came along,so had no idea how to meet him too.And at that same time,Nick went to India, Punjab.His own land for his brother's engagement.Leaving that aside,he could not meet her.He asked her to visit an important firework there.But she could not.She asked him to visit.Then there came a day when he returned and she still was there.The day he arrived back,she would leave  the next day.But when he arrived,it was physically impossible.And she asked him to stay.Nick asked her to look a job in US and meet and marry a guy.

Even though Bonnie was sad,Nick was little happy.He was able to connect with her.He realized he could tell about his ex.He told how his friend Kate, ignored him.How Kate just was too busy.She did not took his calls,did not reply his messages.He expressed his sadness.She also expressed her sadness about her college mate boyfriend.That they were known couples who had to break up.There came a point when Nick was unaware of the fact that Bonnie's mom died.He don't know why he asked.She said it would bring tears in her eye.After that Nick would have felt pity if it was 3 years ago,which happened to him on collage.Nick also revelaed about his crush named Nathalie,who also was a dentist like Bonnie.But he felt,not to her.He felt sad instead.He wanted to hug her and say-Bonnie,I will not leave you ever.I will be your bro for life.But he wanted to look her in the eye and say her,so that he will understand its not just a whatssap crap.There was much more to it.

Time passed by.Nick's best friend found him confused and happy while messaging. He asked him about his happiness and promoted him that things could work out between the two.I told I like her heart.But she was gonna marry now and Nick had time.So without a second thought, she is infact her lost sister.He do had feelings for her which came by that fact when she said her mom was not with her anymore.Before he used to feel pity,now he is feeling proud about how strong she is.She needed channelization as per Nick.She took care of her sister. Nick also told him that Bonnie's sister Betty was cuter and hotter.Just was confused about her character was.

BETTY Nick and Bonnie only contacted through whatssap. Both Bonnie and Betty was very attached to the family.Betty used to visit her frequently from US where she was studying for BBA. Once Bonnie sent her pics ( Betty) to Nick.She looked gorgeous in those pics .There was both their pics.Nick told Betty looked nice and Bonnie was not that great to trigger some emojis.Betty too was Nick's fb and insta friend.

Once again there were some conversation about her with Bonnie,he checked out her insta pics.She told him that she was 5ft 3 inch. And Nick thought she was taller than Bonnie. Bonnie was 5ft 6 inch.Nick was match with Betty with age and height.But he feel more connected with Bonnie because of age and attitude..Late one day in insta Nick happen to go through her Blog.Nick was flat.Just impressed by her talent.He thought she was just another fb and insta maniac.She was much more than he imagined.There was a blog about rights of Lesbians.He found that she put her soul into it and did not care what others thought about it.Also she was a bit feminist.That infact was ok, but need to know how much her her degree to it was.She had a bit of activist in her blood.Bonnie told she was passionate about Corporates,But Nick think otherwise.


He also found a similarity to their name. His name is Nick meaning Greek god Zeus. Betty whose meaning meant of , Danae.He also has re-wrote his blog and edited its contents and uploaded on insta.Everything was fine.He had good reason to engage to her.First her looks, height, secondly her age. Third her name similarity.That seem to naive,the third reason. Forth,the connection with her sister. Fifth,he saw Betty in his favorite actress- Angelina Jolly.

But even that approach came to a stop. Bonnie started maintaining as distance from Nick.Nick was sad, because there were not any.He wanted to reveal his crush to Bonnie,but she put him in a position where he could not even talk.He just felt sad.For him,Bonnie was important than Betty.Because that was his connection.She did nothing.Just was busy with her marriage.Nick and Bonnie's connection became blurred.Nick was confused about why she was avoiding him.He talked everything to her.He knew her weakness-Mom, Job. She might have been fighting her own battles.But Nick just found out that this social media had given him just pain. He just uninstalled instagram and he could not uninstall WhatsApp-Because of his job-related stuff.He could not approach Betty, was small when he realised that he could not even approach Bonnie. They just stopped.Was there any reason? Priorities..


Nick once told her that her silence hurted him.
It's like punishing him.She told she was busy with her marriage and she was busy.But her silence is what eats him than her rudeness. If she was rude, it mattered less. Her silence mattered the hell out of him.It just broke his heart.Not because he had anything to do with Betty.He had everything to do with Bonnie.

He just had no idea why she left him.It reminded him of how his ex-sister (made friend)Kate left her. She also was too important to him once upon a time.It reminded him of her.But that was another scenario. There was too much-built silence which were left unanswered.Nick felt alone and cried. Things that do not kill you make you stronger.He could not feel hatred towards her.He felt hatred for every other-His ex,His ex-sis,his one sis he had now,but could not towards her and don't even want to towards her.He could not talk to her..coz for him it was a matter of both love and self-respect, which were there equally.

Will he solve it? Will he lose his self-respect? Will he lose himself? Or will he lose Bonnie's connection? Hope that just would eat him daily? Or will he be bigger than this?

What does history has to do with cooking?

History has much to deal with food rather than cooking.Homo erectus (The stage we were before humans) was cooking their food as early as 500,000 years ago(0.5 million years ago). Evidence for the controlled use of fire in the beginning of 400,000 years ago has been verified.They found that cooked food has more nutrition and calories than uncooked.

There are mainly 4 kinds of eaters
1.One who eats to remove hunger without feelings but don't overeat.
2.Second the one, who eat to satisfy the food and himself, at-least has a feeling  and tends to overeat
3.The diet-Y one who diets,very conscious about what they eat to maintain their body.Maybe satisfied but fear running throughout and planning requirements just tire them out.
4.There come a 4th kind of eater,one who just eats to satisfy his mental needs rather than hunger. It could be the way the food is made,the ingredients,the presentation,The aroma which call all individually or cumulatively leads to satisfaction.Just a bite and they are satisfied.Eating more of it wont be a problem,They know when to eat and when not to.

All are winners,but 4th type of person is believed to be ultimate winner.He choose quality,quantity.They know when to eat and when to stop.A real chef determine the quality of the food in just one bite.They are mentally happy by the food they eat.

I write not to enforce a career in cooking,Culinary art which deals with  Preparation,Cooking & Presentation.But its much more.The problems associated with hotels and messes are many:
1.Quantity-They provide more than what we need.It makes us fat
2.Quality-They provide less than what we require.It makes us sick and unhealthy
3.Choices of raw ingredients-We choose the vegetables,because we buy it.We can choose,if we want carrot more for the eyes or amla more for the hairs.
4.Money of course.You can save upto 2-3 times your cost

My inspiration to cooking comes from a variety of factors-Kozhikode food-Beef Biriyani(Rehamath),Pune tea,Mutton Kadai,Ramsey Gordon and of course the time when there is no "money".But my ULTIMATE INSPIRATION is from my mom,She being a teacher just plans and makes sure the whole family is fed and My Dad who knows to cook in his bachelor days and applied after his marriage.He makes me food,even after I graduated.I realised that it is manly of a man to cook.

Men should cook.He should try out and explore.Its sexy of a man to cook.It is even shown in a survey of 1000 women in USA  and the same is applicable everywhere.We have seen that Chef is disgraced everywhere,But he is a great person.He can satisfy ones body and mind just like any woman because eating satisfaction is just as important as sexual satisfaction and vice versa.The first bite of any good food is just worth to remember.I still remember the first time i had Shawarma from  Falafil restaurant in Sharjah,UAE. It was just Magic.But maybe not as people remember their first kiss.

WHAT COOKING IS:

1.Cooking starts with cleaning

• Kitchen should be clean and dry
• Separate arrangement for plastic waste,Organic waste
• Fridge should be clean weekly
• Clean the food-Fruits
• Clean the utensils with warm water if possible.

2.Buy the best food from the market.Go for LOCALLY AVAILABLE diets rather than international,exotic fruits like-Kiwi and avacado. Buy what is available in India.
3.Cutting,chopping,grinding,shredding,rolling are the actions involved in cooking.  Cutting a fish,see how Gordon Ramsey do it.You got to master in that.Chopping is an art.There are style and technique involved.
4.Next stage is mixing of food with spices,sauses before baking or boiling-Called 'marinating', 'mixing'-Which can be done manually or via tools like a mixer,.
5.Next stage depends upon what to do for ultimate cooking-Roasting,Boiling,Deep frying,Grilling,Baking etc.
6.Selection of cookware:

•  Worst to cook with- PTFE(teflon),PFOA-Cancer,Granite
• Moderate-Aluminium,Low shine-Stainless steel-YES GOOD
• Good-Cast iron,brass and bronze,Safest-CLAY COOKWARE

I do not aim to reveal what to cook and when to cook and how to cook.I am no expert.All the recipes ,techniques are available in Youtube-Indian,Afghan,Italian...What i want to voice is that Man can cook and he should-weather it is barbecue or steak or grill .Its not just about survival.Its the feeling after feeding someone and they say-Arre Waah!!!He should make a dish worthy of remembering him.The dish has became his identity.One of the bucket list by any cool man would be to cook a signature dish,with proper techniques.And it infact make him more manly-cooking and washing dishes!!!
